Sentinel-1C data now available in Vertex and asf_search

ASF DAAC announces that Sentinel-1C data are available to download through the Vertex search application, programmatically using asf_search version 8.1.3, and through Earthdata Search.

Sentinel-1C is the latest addition to the European Space Agency’s Sentinels satellite fleet. Like Sentinel-1A, it hosts a C-band SAR instrument and has a 12-day repeat period. Working in tandem, Sentinel-1A and Sentinel-1C will provide greater systematic worldwide coverage and, in many areas, six-day repeat-pass observations. Observations from both satellites can be used in combination for science applications such as interferometry and time series analysis.
